Barceló Bávaro Palace All Inclusive

I had the best time with my huge family! Everyone who works at this resort is so wonderful and accommodating! Aniblaisy from the entertainment team turned my trip from a 10/10 to a 100/10! She was so kind to me every time we spoke! She introduced me to do some activities and I had so much fun every time! Also, a shoutout to housekeeping! Not only was my hotel room the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, it was perfect every time I came back because of the wonderful housekeepers! They worked so hard to make my room and experience great!

I recently took a trip with my family and had a great experience overall. Getting to the airport using DAT transport was a breeze, and everything went smoothly from there. As soon as we checked in, we made reservations for the restaurants right away. The resort itself is huge, with lots of pools and an amazing water park that's perfect for kids. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was the food—it could definitely be improved. But aside from that, we had a fantastic time and made lots of great memories!

DO NOT STAY HERE – Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Unprofessional I have traveled extensively around the world, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a resort. From start to finish, the stay was not only disappointing but also unsafe and unsanitary. The service was horrible. Staff at the bars and front desk were consistently rude, dismissive, and simply ignored guests. I had to switch rooms twice because the air conditioning was not working, and no one seemed to care or apologize. The beach was absolutely filthy. It was not just seaweed—there was trash everywhere: cups, food, wrappers, and general waste scattered across the sand. It was disgusting and made it impossible to enjoy the beach. The only decent service was at the buffet and sports bar, where the waiters were genuinely kind and attentive. There are practically no activities or entertainment options. If you are not in the sports bar or casino, you are left with nothing to do. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, stay far away from this place. Cross-contamination is everywhere. The same utensils are used for all kinds of foods, and some dishes don’t even have tongs. I was told by a cook to just “use whatever tongs you find.” Many food labels were either wrong or missing, so it was impossible to know what you were eating unless it was obvious. This is extremely dangerous for anyone with food restrictions. On top of everything, the food was terrible. Bland, cold, and poorly presented. Overall, this resort was a nightmare. I would never recommend it to anyone.
