Great deal for food and luggage. They do a good effort to keep pools clean. Done AC. Units require replacement
I had high hopes for this resort based on the reviews and photos, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several key areas. This resort did not live up to expectations and was a letdown from the moment we arrived. While the resort wasn’t terrible, it was far from exceptional. Several aspects of our stay left much to be desired. If I could give it a Zero I would.
Drove 2 hours from Managua just to go eat and relax there. No one guided us in the right way. Were told to go to the restaurant just to be told to go back to the front and pay there. Food was terrible, rice was hard and my son got sick from the pasta. Went 10 min down the road to enjoy ourselves on the beach and eat there. I will NEVER go back to Barcelo. Worst experience and it was hot as ever in the restaurant. No thanks, came hungry and left hungry.
