Can’t rate this hotel well enough.. we came on the back of a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were spacious and it’s a sitting area and two large beds, separate bath and rain shower and toiletries. Lovely balcony with seating. Food and drinks lovely… so much choice never felt we were “guessing the mess!” Tasty and flavoured foods, choice of cocktails, and spirits. Whilst they may not have been premium brands they were very except able. Perfect location very near to the beach and hustle and busle but far enough for it to not be a problem, plenty of sun beds and pool areas. We stayed in June and it wasn’t super busy, would highly recommend.
Our recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of appalling. From the moment we arrived, the experience was marred by disappointment. The rooms — which one would expect to be immaculate and luxurious at this price point — were astonishingly mediocre. Tired furnishings, outdated décor, and an overall atmosphere of neglect made it abundantly clear that the property is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. The bathroom was perhaps the most shocking aspect: stained surfaces, visible mold, and an air of uncleanliness that was impossible to ignore. For a hotel boasting luxury status, this level of hygiene is utterly unacceptable. Service, if one can even call it that, was virtually non-existent. The staff displayed a startling lack of basic human courtesy, rarely making eye contact and often seeming inconvenienced by the simplest requests. On one occasion, they placed us in entirely the wrong room — one we had not booked and certainly did not want. When we requested to be moved to the correct accommodation, we were told (in an astonishing attempt to frame the error as a favor) that they had “upgraded” us to a better room. This so-called “upgrade” was in fact even worse than what we had originally booked, both in quality and cleanliness. The entire experience reeked of mismanagement, disinterest, and false advertising. To call this establishment a five-star hotel is not merely misleading — it is an outright insult to genuine luxury hospitality
Have read a lot of reviews about this hotel and it would have to be the bottom of the list. I have travelled the planet staying at hundreds of hotels from 2 star to 5 star and this hotel is advertised at 5 star. I just came back from this hotel yesterday, and this hotel is only a 3 star at the most. Upon arrival we had to wait 3 hours for our room. When we did get our room, they only had one room card left for the 3 of us. 2 restaurants with the same food which was boringly OK but not 5 star. Rooms are ok but in need of fixing. Some lights not working, tiles broken in the bathroom. Large smudge marks on the walls next to the bed. Cleaning was good and it should be. Try to get a sunbed at the pool and nothing available as people wake up at 6 to claim them with towels. I even noticed a family doing this at 4 in the morning. Staff are not willing to help with finding sunbeds. The gym is a disgrace with broken apparatuses, air-conditioning was noisy. Hardly any staff smile. It's like they don't want to be there. Beds need to be upgraded. It was like sleeping in a hammock. The safety glass on our balcony was loose and rattled. Seagulls run riot poolside late in the afternoon shitting everywhere and not entirely removed for the next day If you want a 2/3 star hotel then this fine but don't advertise and charge it as a 5 star, which it is far from.
