Barry Boutique Seaview Hotel Sanya

Old style Resort-like hotel with rooms which open out to balconies with fantastic views. The entrance and facade is terrible however. It's a 'Russian' hotel and in fact, the area is very popular with Russian tourists. It's a walk to Sanya's beaches.

Mostly Chinese and Russian guests, the breakfast buffet is ok but you'll struggle to identify things if you only read English. The lifts are terrible, you'll be waiting 10 minutes for the lift to arrive in a corridor that isn't air conditioned. The "gym" is a couple of machines outside by the pool. Internet is painfully slow but that might not be specific to this hotel. Hang the "do not disturb" sign and they still come in insisting to clean. Beach is 5 min walk away but "sea view" mostly blocked by tall buildings. 2 bedroom suite was a good size. Plenty of noise on 10th floor from traffic and shops.

It’s a very inconvenient hotel at a family with childrens. The swimming pool is tiny. The staff speaks poorly in english. The hotel is not recommended to any family with childrens, it is verrrrryyyyy bad...
