Amazing apartment /hotel, lovely location, nice grounds, lots of parking, nice pool and poolside bar. Note the stairs to the upper mezzanine for sleeping in the apartments are steep and loft stair like so exercise caution, especially after vino!! ⚠️ Not great for kids tbh, but solution is don't bring the kids...
Set out in extensive grounds, rooms in four seperate blocks. Two lovely swimming pools and staff all helpful. Strange that the registration office was in the last area you came too and there was only one small bar in the pool area. Not quite sure how they would handle it when it rained. No information in the rooms about the hotel; we were presented with an App and told to download it. However it just advertised the facilities and did not tell us how to operate the hitec rooms. Also no menu available in the dining room; this time had to scan the code. Not sure that us elderly folk liked the impersonable way this came across.
If you’re being checked into the mezzanine suite No. 7 for €430 per night — chances are, the air conditioning doesn’t work… Run immediately. It’s very unlikely they’ll fix it. In our case, someone showed up every day, stared thoughtfully at the unit, and fiddled with the remote. The “repair team” turned out to be just the housekeeping guys. Honestly, it felt like they were purposely stalling until we checked out. I normally never write negative reviews, but this place treated us like complete fools. They kept saying the AC was working perfectly, and when we asked why it was hotter inside the room than outside, they just shrugged. We had to sleep with the windows open — the heat on the mezzanine level was unbearable, and there were tons of mosquitoes. We all left covered in bites. Such a pity, because we initially really liked the hotel. The staff at the bar and restaurant were genuinely warm and welcoming.
