Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa

The rooms are substandard. The AC in the living dining area did not work properly even after they came to "repair" it. There was condensation in the bathroom ceiling, the lights were rusted around it to show it was not recent. The beach was very nice and so was the water. I am not coming back to this facility.

I feel that reviews are subject to the type of person. I prefer to stay at a Ritz Carlton or the Viceroy property. The people at the front desk are very nice. The beach is nice and clean. The water park was fun. The cost of the water park was included in the hotel fees. The actual property is bad. Out dated. Needs major repair. Bathroom toilet seat was broken. I was hoping the cleaning lady would notice the issue. Did not. Had to step up into a shower. Not comfortable. The restaurants breakfast buffet was gross. Missing food. Lacked people. There was no service at the beach. No one coming around which you typically see at a resort. The gym was outdated. Some people who did stay at the property were older.

The hotel was nice but the roaches in our room and bathroom made the trip super unpleasant. They offered us 1 free dinner to make it better but it didn’t. Would have been a really great trip if i was actually able to sleep at night and not worried about roaches.
