33 yrs with RCI, my final getaway into quiet, luscious greenery. With elders in the family, we were given best , Chempaka Villa No 1. With a small outdoor pool,spacious , clean , 2 bedrooms and large open full kitchen(Beguiled by the old toilet flush!) Built 40yrs ago, with great foresight.Understandably , a little dated, but solidly built, splendid views.True to Balinese hospitality, staff spoilt us with every request & arrangement with special mention of sweet Adelia, the receptionist.Cuisine was up to mark. Had a local Nasi Tumpeng Feast .Sukawati Town has some of the best Bakeries & Ubud is magical. Ideally this is a place to hibernate to write a book. By the way, long term stay is also offered!

Do not book here! If there was a choice for a zero rating, that is what I would rate this place. Where do I begin? My daughter wanted to go to Bali so she used our timeshare week. She and her friend arrived on 8-24-25 in the afternoon. They found the grounds were stunning but it took a turn when they got to their villa. They discovered that the phone didn’t work(so they had to use what’s app to communicate with front desk since they were told it would’nt be fixed). The downstairs toilet was not working but that was fixed. The outlets weren’t working properly and later were actually smoking when they were charging their cell phones. The A/C in the living room did not work and were told it wouldn’t be fixed. They had to pay &140 for utilities (honestly, what utilities??!!) prior to even going to the villa (they have since refunded them that when they checked out early, tried to short change them on the refund and even tried to charge them for the early check out!!) They only stayed 1 night as they didn’t feel safe there after all of this.Also, when they went to wash their hands, they received a low voltage electrical shock. Luckily, they were able to find another place to stay so they promptly checked out. I have notified our timeshare company and recommended they do not send any more timeshare holders there!

Don't go to Bali Masari! Monkeys in park and not safe anywhere. You can't use veranda, outside shower or swimming pool. More detailed review will follow.
