Best Western Doral

I stayed here for over a month in between moving to a new place. The staff was great and beyond helpful. Room was clean every day I came back from work. The cleaning, and repair and maintenance staff always asked if I needed anything. Geylaine, and Karla from cleaning. Abel and Huber with maintenance really did a great job. Also very nice and checking in daily just to see how things were going. The free breakfast every morning is another plus.

Arrived and the front desk was amazing. Room not so much, ac had flooded the floor. They were quick to get us a new room. The ac was perfect. Beds comfy. Main issue was our key rarely worked. And you couldn't get back in from the pool with key. However janitorial staff opened our room a couple of times for us. The location is amazing. If the staff hadn't been as amazing, I wouldn't be as impressed though.

The location was possibly the best part of our stay. It is within walking distance of a few eatery's. I was disappointed when we checked in and found out that what I thought was a two double bed w/ a sleeper sofa was instead two doubles with a couch. So imagine the shock when trying to sleep 3 adults. The hotel room door was janky and we had to use the key several times to gain access; not only this but the bathroom door wouldn't close either. Luckily we were all women sharing the room. It took a bit to get the need amount of towels and linen. There were stains on the mattress and the room gave off s stale scent. Also there were no dishes in the room but it has a hot top. Maybe you have to request them but it was a bit strange not to have them. They did have complementary breakfast which was decent. Overall not the best stay. Maybe if the room situation was better I could have given more stars.
