Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino

First impressions are not great but this hotel grows on you and actually ticks all the important boxes. We will stay here again. Decor a little tired and worn but our room was large and comfortable with a great view. Outstanding breakfast! Plenty of opportunities to eat and drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent carpark and location.

A great hotel with some really wonderful staff. Food was good recommend going to the bar in the evening. The room rooms are spacious and well presented but needed a little bit of an update.

Great hotel to stay at. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean and tidy with essential items in there (safe, fab,iron and board, toiletries, towel radiator). It could do with updating here and there with some more electrical sockets next to the bed, but as a whole the room was fine, clean and comfy. I had a sea view which was lovely. The hotel and casino were great. I mainly ate breakfast there (which was excellent and had loads of choice). Others in our group had some evening meals in the restaurant said it was lovely. The Chinese restaurant was nice, a little slow on service for drinks and for them mixed up. I was surprised that prawn crackers were not complimentary when spending so much on the starters, drinks and main courses which wasn't cheap with what we had. A nice treat non the less. I didn't get to the gym and pool etc but check the web for all the facilities they're provide here. Good parking area at the rear of the hotel. Drinks in the bar and hotel were reasonable and the Looky bar was very smart and had some great aslive acts on. Overall I'd stay here again.
