Just returned from a stay at the Best Western Plus Apollo International Hotel in Charlestown, and it exceeded all expectations. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a balcony overlooking serene bushland—creating a tranquil retreat despite being just a short drive from Newcastle's city center. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
had a fantastic family stay (2 adults, 1 child) while visiting family in Newcastle. GM Richard arranged a room easily even though I was booking last minute. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional on check in and during our entire stay. Hotel is excellent value and highly recommendable. easy access to all areas in Newcastle. We will def stay again if we return to Newcastle!
Great hotel. Every amenity you need plus more. Lovely staff. Large rooms. Comfy beds. And the restaurant food is delicious. The Chef offers not only meals that appeal but try some of their creations eg basil and corn soup is heavenly. Highly recommend roast of the day. The bar & restaurant staff are friendly and attentive and really humourous. Reception staff are really helpful and the housekeeping staff are fast, funny and so good at whipping your room into a clean space for you to enjoy. And affordable so it's a big tick from me.
