Best Western Plus Larco Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. The room was clean, stylish, and super comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was definitely the cocktails. The bar has a great atmosphere, and the drinks were crafted with real skill by Mohamed and each cocktail was well-balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re into classics or something a bit more creative, the menu has something for everyone. Highly recommend both the stay and the sips — I’ll definitely be coming back!

The room was spacious and comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our experience with the food and service left much to be desired. The quality of the food, including breakfast, was consistently poor. Service was unprofessional—at one point, a waiter even opened a cereal box with his mouth, which was extremely unhygienic. It was also strange to see breakfast being prepped during dinner service. There were inconsistencies with the drink vouchers as well. We were initially told we couldn’t use them for an iced latte, but after we mentioned speaking to reception, the coffee was suddenly allowed and brought to us. Although our full-board package stated that meals would be served in the main restaurant, we were turned away at lunchtime and directed to the pool restaurant with an à la carte menu. We ordered a chicken fillet burger and were served just a plain fillet. When we asked for the correct order, they simply put the same piece of chicken into a bun and returned it. One of our starters was also forgotten, and we had to follow up to get it. Overall, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail was disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standard.

First of all, I want to say that this is 100% not a 4-star hotel, at most it is 2*. The money I paid is not worth it but still okay, but the price the hotel is asking now, due to the fact that everyone who hasn't flown to Israel is looking for accommodation, is absolutely not worth it. The first impression when you enter the lobby is the smell from the toilet, the hotel is not new and dirt. The air conditioner in my room working very loudly, I have to turn it off and sleep in the heat - you can hear the sound on the video. When I left the room, I asked the reception to fix the air conditioner, even sent a video, few hours later when I returned and asked if it was fixed - they told me yes. When I entered the room, I noticed that the air conditioner was making the same sound. The room was not very clean when I arrived and there was someone else's hair on the pillows. Next days day when I went for breakfast the orange juicer was not working, the choice is limited, I asked the waiter to call cook to fry an omelet and waited 10 minutes. The floor in the breakfast area was always dirty and my impression - all hotel is dirty. One day in the elevator all day was trash on the floor and nobody cared. 5 floors of the hotel, each of which has 21 rooms, there is only one elevator, which is de facto for 4 people, not 6 as indicated, and sometimes even for 3, so sometimes you have to climb the stairs to the 4th floor so as not to wait 10 minutes if a large group with suitcases arrived or many guests returned at the same time. It is also sometimes difficult to call the elevator. The soundproofing is poor, I woke up at 8 in the morning because the cleaners started cleaning and you could hear all the sounds, even the rustling of packages, their conversations, dragging a trolley. But it is fair to say a good sides of the hotel - this is the location, which is remote from the center, which makes it quieter and only 5 minutes from the beach, and the hotel staff, the cleaning ladies are very friendly and nice, the receptionists, the waiters, they are always friendly and helpful.
