Best Western Plus Paramount Hotel

As an American on my first trip to Zambia I will admit this hotel was not my first option but when I stayed here the service was 5 star the manager was very helpful and kind the staff was very friendly helpful and dedicated to helping you. House keeping is trustworthy and as an American you can eat without worry here I didn't get sick it was very clean. This hotel exceed my expectations would stay here again.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Lusaka from 8 to 11 July 2025, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was personally welcomed by the Managing Director, Mr Dogukan Pehlivan, who took the time to check me in himself and even accompanied me to my room to ensure everything was in order — a rare and thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of my stay. What truly stood out was the professionalism and warmth of the entire team. The staff were exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel genuinely welcome. Having travelled extensively across many countries, I can confidently say that this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Best Western Plus Lusaka has earned its place as my go-to hotel whenever I’m in the city. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers looking for outstanding service and comfort.

Firstly, the steak was exceptionally cooked and the other dinner items we had were great. Also, the cappuccinos were great as well. The service was not very personable or flexible. Our shower was lukewarm, the rooms feel odd, and parking is a bit inconvenient. I would opt for Stay Easy for that classic western hotel feel.
