I don't know why this hotel is considered a 2-star. It is easily a 3-star (3.5 if there was such a thing). It has a good selection of different room types, on site restaurant, pool, and game room. They allow pets and the grounds are spectacular. We stayed in the President's Suite so of course that added to our satisfaction. The restaurant food was consistently good. We would stay at this hotel again. Maybe even worth visiting the town again just to stay at this hotel.

Very nice hotel overall. The employees were very nice except the wait staff at their restaurant took toom long to check on us. We ended up having to find them to pay the bill. The rooms were ok. The pool was cold, but they did warn us about that and there is a tree that drops debris in it. It is a 2 minute walk from a 'walmart' so it was easy to buy anything we forgot. Everything else was a taxi ride away.

We stayed in multiple rooms with family. The rooms are adequate and clean. There are no elevators or other ways for disability access to the second floor. The restaurant and bar can provide basic food and drink, but do not expect what the hotel shows in it's photos. The food is adequate at best, and not as plentiful as shown (but honestly not good enough to make you want regular sized pancakes or sausages anyway). When we were there, the pool was only filled to about 1m below the top. No idea why that was. The "bowling alley" is, well, there, but not really functional. No pinsetter, no ball return, no attendant, but fun for the adventurous. The grounds are very well kept and very pretty. The rooms toward the inside of the house are quiet, but the rooms toward the highway have a lovely view of gardens, but a lot of noise.
