So i had a total of 3 nights stay that were originally booked into 2 different bookings. As the hotel was full the first night, they kindly upgraded me to the Presidential Suite #2400 which was actually a really nice surprise & gift ! I am staying ~6months in hotel per year for the last 15 years and it is the first time that i got the chance to be upgraded to the Presidential Suite which was a real nice experience, especially when you know that it is priced at +7K$ per night ! Therefore i can only give a 5stars review for this hotel !!! The view from 24th floor was really impressive, perfect location for this hotel, nice little gym for quick workout and good quality food at the breakfast ! Thank you 🙏🏼
“This Best Western gave us the worst Western experience — at check-in, at least.” Unfortunately, you can’t check in a minute before 14:00 unless you’re willing to pay 30% more. This led to a line forming right at 14:00, which felt unnecessarily rigid. The “double” beds are closer in size to twins, and with only two elevators for a large hotel, you’ll want to budget extra time during busy hours. Also, no bedside charging stations, which is surprising for a newer hotel. That said, the property meets the basic U.S. express lodging standards: it’s in a great location, has a nice city view, and the facilities are new and well maintained. Still, check-in sets the tone, like a first impression. Even for a standard business hotel, I hope they work on making that experience feel more welcoming.
For a 5 star hotel, the service was terrible and disappointing. Firstly, my friends and I were the only ones at the concierge for check-in as it was already midnight. And it was obvious we were waiting to check-in as we just arrived in our luggages. Instead of welcoming us and asking if we would like to check-in, the staff at the counter stood there nonchalantly. I had to ask if they could do check-in for us. Secondly, We booked a room for 3 pax, but they only prepared the room for 2 pax. Thirdly, at the hotel breakfast buffet, the egg station “chef” was extremely rude and unhappy. Her face showed very clearly that she was very unhappy when I asked for fresh sunny side up, as she wanted to just give me what’s left on the table for awhile: then she proceeded to cook it very unwillingly and unhappily slamming the pans. When my friends asked for omelet they only gave them plain omelette with no ingredients inside, whereas she gave eveyeone else ingredients without them asking. Her attitude was appalling. The service staff also took very long to clear the plates on the table. The staff at the counter during check-in also forgot to give us breakfast voucher for the next morning and when we asked the concierge staff about it, she said no need just give the staff at the breakfast counter our room number. We did that but the staff there told us we should get a breakfast voucher. Clearly they don’t have a proper standard of procedure / Inconsistent, and we are suffering the inconvenience for it. Lastly, when checking out, we asked for our luggages to be kept at the concierge/hotel, and the hotel staff sighed and gave us a very unhappy reaction and look, like it was a chore for him to do it. We were shocked at how bad and terrible the hotel service is. For a 5 star hotel; they sure need to retrain all their staff. Disappointing and definitely not worth the money.
