During our stay at Blue reef, we had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality. The highlight of our stay was the incredible massage at the hotel’s spa—truly one of the best we’ve ever had, leaving us completely relaxed. The entertainment and animation team did a fantastic job, ensuring there was always something fun to do. The food was simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The hotel’s atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall service exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return!
Nice hotel in quite environment in a very small village with just pharmacy, mosque and super market. The beach is super beautiful, with the knees-high sea level, but super swimming and snorkeling from the reef where you have to walk. The rooms are clean, the food is great - everything is super hygienic, so I ate also fresh salad and every kind of food and vegetable without any problem. I like very much the soups and beef, but also vegetable ragus - plenty of vegetarian options. Also, every day different kind of meat/fish served. I recommend very much the massages offered at the hotel. If you buy a massage program, you get really to very good price. You are also assigned your own masseur and you can select which massages you like the most within your program, and Taha is very helpful with that. I also recommend the trip to the dessert on camels/horses offered by Tito or even short circuit, as riding is very memorable experience. We went to the dessert like 5-6 kilometers to tea place in the dessert, where we also bought fresh hibiscus and also other tea for digestion. The camels are named Alibaba & Michael Jackson (as he likes to dance in the sand) and Alibaba loves to be approached and be touched, while MJ not that much. Both love juice, if Tito allows you to get it from them, he is a really nice guy. Only thing which I disliked in the hotel is the Italian animation team, whose boss loves shouting to the microphone and the music in the evening is so incredibly loud, that you can still hear it from every corner of the hotel from 21-23:00, whether you want it or not and believe me, you mostly want not. The animation is totally mismatching with the family & quiet setting of the hotel. Other than that, I recommend visiting and enjoying the reef with the beautiful corals, good food, massages, perhaps trying diving and beautiful green garden of the hotel.
A peaceful and relaxing family getaway at Blue Reef Resort, Marsa Alam This year, our family decided to spend our vacation in a calm, quiet place — and we chose Blue Reef Resort in Marsa Alam. It’s a small and cozy hotel, perfect for a peaceful family holiday. The resort features a lovely, well-kept garden area and offers everything you need to relax. Whether you prefer lounging by the pool, swimming in the lagoon, or snorkeling by the reef — there’s something for everyone. The house reef is impressive, with plenty of colorful and diverse fish. There’s also beach volleyball available for active guests. The food, by Egyptian standards, is tasty and quite varied. Everyone in the family found something they liked. Of course, there are some downsides. The beach sunbeds need to be replaced — especially the old, worn-out mattresses. Room cleaning could also be improved. However, the hotel staff listens to feedback and works to correct any issues. The team is friendly and does their best to make you feel welcome — and to encourage you to come back again. If you’re looking for a quiet, family-friendly resort away from the crowds, this place is a great choice.
