Bluegreen Vacations Eilan Hotel and Spa an Ascend Collection Resort

Place is beautiful, rooms are kinds small but comfortable. My only concern ac never got below 71. Personal preference to be nice and cold. Staff was amazing. Great location. Staff very helpful. 2 night stay high recommend

First of all, the hotel only offers valet parking, which costs $40 per night—there are no other options. When I made the reservation, they didn’t inform me about this until just a few days before my trip. Additionally, you have to leave a $200 deposit per room. The outdoor pool lights do not work, and the area lacks proper lighting. We arrived around 7 pm and couldn’t enjoy the pool because it was too dark. Regarding room cleanliness, it wasn’t up to standard, and the carpets throughout the hotel had an unpleasant smell. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and attentive. However, throughout my stay, I had the constant feeling that I would be charged for every little thing. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel, and I will not be returning in the future.

Definitely not coming here again. Very pricey for a hotel that doesn't come with many positives. The service was horrible, not to mention that room service isn't available. The women that attempted to help us when we checked in didn't explain things clearly either. We had selected “pre- paid” for our stay but she explained that they physically haven’t charged the card yet and it seemed like she was trying to charge us double for our one night. There's a 200 dollar insensitive fee for a room that has stained chairs and dusty walls. The sandwich we purchased had a rubber feel and the turkey, cheese, and bacon were practically melted into the cold bread (have a feeling it was old).
