Bougainvillea Retreat

It was on a spur of the moment that we visited the resort along with family and friends on a lazy pleasant Sunday afternoon. Pacing through quiet meandering paths and green fields against the backdrop of the pinkish sky, away from the city bustle, and amidst the soothing ambience we were welcomed by the gentle opening of the entrance gate that took us along a winding path nestled with lovely seasonal flowers of a variety of hues. These along with the lush green well tended landscape is a feast to one's senses. The scenic beauty enhanced by the soft orange glows of light at a distance peeping through the large window panes of the restaurant as the sun was setting at the horizon is a welcoming space to be. We chilled around and settled down in the restaurant. The staff and service was remarkable. Attended by polite and welcoming staff we started with relishing starters at the table. The tea was awesome and the food tasted delicious and well balanced. Finally with fun and laughter, we signed off the evening and thanked the staff for taking care of us. We also had the opportunity to meet the graceful MD who was in one of her regular routine visits to the place. We simply bumped into her and I find her polite demeanour and astute management of the place remarkable. On the whole, we had a lovely experience and would love to see this place continue to offer the retreat into the lap of nature and care that we need now and then from our busy schedules.

The resort has a great ambience, surrounded by trees and offering a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was both tasty and reasonably priced. Currently, there are 21 rooms available, with 10 more being added. One suggestion would be to increase the seating capacity in the restaurants. Guests travel nearly 1.5 hours from the city to the resort but had to wait for 1 to 2 hours to be seated. Overall, it’s a wonderful weekend getaway and definitely worth the visit.

Visited Bougainvillea resort with family and friends, and we were thoroughly impressed! The ambience of the place is fascinating. The entrance decorated with natural Bougainvillea and variety of other flowers was absolutely stunning, and the tea and starters were delicious with exquisite flavours. The service was exceptional— the staff was attentive and friendly. For us, it was an evening well spent. Overall, a highly satisfactory experience. Highly recommend this place.
