This hotel was the best by far in the Kotor area. I got a room for 5 days and I love the friendliness of the staff and the room. The hotel room had a kingsize bed, and it came with a fully stocked fridge. We were given welcome drinks with prosecco, and a cake and biscuit were given complimentary. The breakfast in the morning had very good options, and the cooked menu where I picked a montenegrin breakfast was very tasty. The wellness room had everything I wanted. It had a sauna, shower, and jacuzzi. Overall, the staff were amazing whether it was front of the desk or waiting staff in the restaurant. I will definitely be back when I visit Kotor. There is free parking to the front of the hotel, which is handy for getting around Kotor Bay.
This place has it all. Beautiful rooms with a view of the bay, bed and breakfast, restaurant, pool, parking, masseuse, spa, and a 2min walk for a swim in the bay. ****All the staff are out this world helpful (s/o Ana, Luka, and Nevena)**** Here’s an example of there one of kind service: as we’re leaving montegro to head back to Croatia. Our hotel in Dubrovnik was not getting back to us and we were unsure if we had a place to stay. The Pietra staff went out of their way to call and figure out the logistics to lock in the Dubrovnik hotel for us. Imagine that a hotel booking us another hotel. One of a kind customer service
To be honest, this hotel is beautiful, with stunning views of Kotor Bay and conveniently located just a short walk from the waterfront restaurants—though it’s directly facing a road, which slightly reduces the charm. It also offers a great breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience was severely impacted by significant mold issues. The moment we entered our room, we noticed a very strong, unpleasant odor. Upon inspection, we discovered multiple clear signs of mold, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. We immediately notified the hotel, but the staff initially denied the mold problem, instead providing us with a powerful fan to improve air quality. Having this noisy fan running all night severely disrupted our sleep. After complaining again the next day, we were moved to another room on a lower floor, but we quickly found the same mold issues there. Eventually, they moved us to a top-floor room, which was slightly better but still had noticeable mold problems. Additionally, our friend staying in another room experienced the same issues independently, meaning at least four rooms—and likely more—had mold problems. Considering the price and otherwise lovely setting, it was extremely disappointing to spend our entire stay worried about mold exposure, especially during a joyful wedding celebration. I’d strongly encourage the hotel to address this issue urgently, as it significantly affected our stay.
