Nice rooms. Beach aint perfect, shallow water for 200 m, lots of seaweed, better go to lighthouse and swim from there. Poor cuisine, and bad organization of food court. I.e. not enough cups for coffee, so you have to use plastic glasses at breakfast and dinner. Long row for omlette. Not enough fruits. Overall nice place to sleep if you spend your daytime somethere else, i.e. on the kite station like I did

Cleanliness and services, to be reported!!!! Up until the pages of Corriere della Sera, they had talked about this place, due to the numerous complaints received from guests. Do not drink the drinks, they do not even wash the glasses (just a rinse under the tap). The waiters continue to look for money in an embarrassing way and if you do not pay they leave you waiting. Absolutely to AVOID!!!

The hotel is sold by Itaka as Hotel Al Kantara Thalassa despite constant renovation and lack of permission to provide hotel services. It is still closed to tourists and Itaka informs at the airport that accommodation will be in a much worse hotel, e.g. Hari Club. The swimming pool has green water all the time, as you can see on Google Maps. The beach is not cleaned and there is a lot of algae and seaweed on the shore. I was there in the first half of June and in my opinion it won't work in July 2023 either, so watch out for my face!!!
