BrookLodge & Macreddin Village

From the moment my husband and I arrived we were warmly welcomed at reception. We stayed in a suite (a free upgrade from a basic room which we were extremely grateful for - an amazing surprise!) The spa is fantastic. I had a pregnancy massage and my husband had a back massage - both were some of the best massages we’ve ever had. The thermal suite and pool is beautiful and so relaxing. We loved the food - lunch at the Waterside Lounge and the small pub on site were both delicious, takeaway pizza one night from the Italian restaurant and a three course meal there the next night. Breakfast was decent too. The staff were all friendly and attentive, maybe a little less so at breakfast but still fine. We had a really relaxing weekend and I was so glad we booked this gem of a place!

Attended my sisters wedding there recently and honestly couldn't fault the place one bit. The staff were lovely from reception to dining. We had the main meal in the strawberry tree which was out of this world. Absolutely stunning! Sally was a breath of fresh air and nothing was to much trouble. The grounds are beautiful, I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or chill get away.

Fantastic hotel for a short break or a wedding. Idyllic setting... the babbling brook isn't just in the name :-). Super friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing spa facilities. Will go again without hesitation. Possibly the only slight flaw was the breakfast - there was a very wide selection but the quality of the cooked options was maybe 7/10.
