Buddha Roc is worth the trip. When you go, know that it's a drive from the airport and some of the roads are dirt and steep! But once you get to Buddha Roc it's the most picturesque resort in Nicaragua. Set high on a mountain with an infinity pool that looks like it flows to the ocean below. The suites are amazing and the staff is too. They didn't have black tea for me - no problem - 15 minutes later it arrived and they remembered to make it for me every morning. The Chef is five-star. His sushi the freshest I've ever tasted. And make sure to book at catamaran sunset tour...so beautiful. Just talk to the resort manager, Dexter, and he can make anything you want happen. Five-star all around.

The views are amazing. The staff was very attentive and the food and drinks were exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about the resort. There is so much to do in Nicaragua and they will help you experience it all. Make sure you rent a quad while you are there to get around

The second you turn into the resort, you feel a calm come over you and get ready for a great view and experience. The staff is very attentive and very friendly (don't worry about the language barrier because some of them speak English) and do what they can to make the stay pleasant. The rooms are very unique where there are multiple rooms in each building, some with access to a bathroom from within the room, others you have to leave your room walk a few feet to a bathroom that is "shared" with another room. (trust me, it's not an issue). Each building of rooms is different than the others both inside and out. You have access to rooftops to watch the sunrise and sunset, multiple places to relax in a hammock or just sit on a couch and enjoy the view, or go down to the infinity pool and have a drink at the bar. A couple of the days we had a massage on one of the outdoor decks. Check with them beforehand to get this set up. Each morning, we were presented with a couple choices of breakfast which was great. If you are looking to have an event, they have a great room either inside or you can have an amazing set-up on the pool deck. This resort is set high in the hills so keep in mind that it is not a simple situation of picking up your rental car and driving to the resort. You will have to navigate through dirt roads, which made the experience even more fun and interesting. I would recommend getting yourself set up with either a 2 or 6 seater to keep at the resort to make your way to the beach or just going into town. Ask about this when you make your reservations. There are plenty of adventures and places to eat outside of the resort. All in all, this was a great vacation with friends. When you leave a resort and you feel like you have made friends with the staff, it's a great day.
