Bustan Inn

This hotel was super cool. We got an upgrade to a better room right away. The pool had a very traditional style – totally different from what you’re usually used to, in a really good way. And overall, the city had the coolest architecture. Very traditional and not fake at all – it felt completely authentic.

Lovely hotel in Nizwa’s old town. Traditional style rooms (with excellent aircon for hot nights!) fit the vibe of Nizwa perfectly, and the pool area was our favourite spot to hang out, with refreshingly cold spring water a welcome treat for summer days. Very relaxing spot, and the staff are so lovely and helpful - we’d stay again on our next visit for sure.

Al Butaan Hotel isn’t super luxurious, but it’s spacious and has an excellent location near Nizwa Old Town. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and perfectly fine. There’s a small pool to cool off, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A solid, convenient base for exploring the area.
