Camden on the Lake Resort & Spa

The room was great. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and blankets. Sofa is a hide-a-bed if needed. Kitchenette stocked well. Our TV stopped working and it was replaced immediately. Nice balcony with lake view. It was full of spider webs and bugs which didn't bother me but I did see staff cleaning these off of other balconies if requested. Little breakfast/coffee bar has decent coffee and the panini breakfast sandwiches are large and tasted great. Both are pricey. Be sure to ask staff for current hours of everything on site. Website and signs on site were incorrect which was very frustrating. H. Toads has breakfast daily (hours wrong on website) Complaints: The swim up bar has inconsistent hours but was always shut down by 7pm during the week. The pool was quite dirty each of the 6 days that we used it. If you are visiting LOZ during the week, be prepared for things to be closed during the first part of the week. We weren't expecting this. There are bands on the weekends and it gets loud. Ask for a balcony looking at the street if you want to get any sleep.

We visited from Ohio for Kids Harbor's BBQ bash and have been thrilled with our stay at Camden! The rooms are very nice, clean and well maintained. The facilities are great, with a lot to do on the grounds. The staff is friendly, accommodating and hav been a pleasure all around. We can't recommend this place enough, definitely a great place to stay for your personal or business trips!

Room was spacious and gorgeous. However for a “4-Star” hotel amenities lacking, only tiny shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. Take your own coffee and cream and 1-4 C filters unless you’re okay with paying $8 for a latte at the coffee bar. The coffee provided in the room is not good. Kitchen is minimally stocked. Some pans, no baking dishes, no bowls. No paper towels. Hot tub and pool seemed dirty. Views were nice on lake side. Our balcony was full of cobwebs though. Mixed feelings.
