Camino Mexicano Hotel & Resort

Had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Wonderful service and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend if traveling to Chiapas.

The hotel is very clean. Very good service in front desk as well as room service. Everyone is very kind and polite. Beautiful ambiance. We loved the room, small but very cozy. We enjoyed breakfast today at the Lindo México restaurant and it was delicious. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends. I was bummed about service at waterpark. I came so my son could swim and he swam the first day is black water shorts and the next day the same lady wouldn't allow him to swim with the same shorts. What a bummer to explain to him he couldnt swim when he was so excited!

Avoid at all costs!! We were a party of 21. Twelve kids and 9 adults. From the time we arrived it was a disaster. It took our party almost 2 hours to check in on a reservation we had for 2 months and they could not find it. When the receptionist called to the manager for help she replied over the radio "I have better things to do". The next day when i had the opportunity to talk to the day manager he informed me the he did find the reservation but he canceled so that he could book us directly with them instead of the third party app. It all felt very sketchy. That afternoon we tried to use the water park we were told that our swims suite were not acceptable due to the type of material and were not allowed in. Conveniently they had a wall full swim suits for sale at three times the cost. To top it off, at check out our rooms were inspected by staff members before we left. There were several other guests checking out at the same time and they were not being asked to wait for their rooms to be inspected. Again sketchy! Please do yourself a favor and don't take the chance.
