We had 4 lovely nights at this special hotel which benefited from being on the beach and in good proximity to lovely towns. It was relaxed but stylish and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches such as homemade cookies/pastry at night, yummy sour lemon sweets, and a steamer in the room to name just a few. It had a lovely shop which was just open to wander in and if you found something you like you’d just tell the front desk. We especially enjoyed our complimentary cooking class where we and another family made tarallo taught by the lovely Lena and assisted in translation by Lesley G who I believe is one of the senior team. It’s the kind of hotel where I hugged both goodbye and was sad to leave.

The atmosphere is calm and refined, yet incredibly welcoming — every member of the staff treats you not just as a guest, but like part of a big, beautiful family. The rooms are tastefully decorated, blending Mediterranean charm with modern comfort. Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh local ingredients, homemade pastries, delicious coffee, and a peaceful sea view that stays with you long after you leave. Whether you’re unwinding at the spa, lounging by the pool, or enjoying a candlelit dinner by the beach, everything feels effortless and intimate. And let’s not forget the cocktails — beautifully crafted, refreshing, and full of personality. Each drink felt like a little celebration, perfectly matched with the setting sun and the sound of the waves. Canne Bianche is more than a hotel — it’s a place where luxury feels like home.

The highlights of this hotel are: The unbelievably helpful staff (best we’ve know anywhere), especially Anna and Patrizia, who went out of their way to help. They even recommended and printed out itineraries for places we visited which included what to see, where to park and where to eat. The breakfast - an incredible range of food including superb homemade cakes, cooked breakfast, yoghurt and delicious coulis, champagne, croissants, etc. The spacious area downstairs and well-kept pool and garden area. V close proximity to a beach area and can walk along shore from hotel for a good distance. We also enjoyed our time in the spa not least because we had it to ourselves when we went and the gym is well equipped.
