Carnmore Hagley Park

Very nice holiday motel with flexible check-in time. We arrived after midnight and the staff had left the key in a lockbox with a code — everything went smoothly. The room was new and very quiet. We had a great stay. Just one thing to note — the bedroom didn’t have its own heater. There was an electric blanket, which helped, but it would be even better if a heater was provided.

The 2 bedroom family room was a good size for our family of 5 and had everything we needed however the place was very damp including all our bedding, despite opening our windows every day the condensation was awful. Didn't hear much of the road noise unless the windows were open but there was a herd of elephants staying in the unit upstairs often waking us around 5am with their thumping.

Not that easy to find as a visitor, but worth the effort. Very large lounge with air conditioning, microwave/tea and coffee making facilities. Small bathroom with shower and vanity but adequate ( size didn't match the spaciousness in the unit) There is no elevator to access upper level rooms, I left my suitcase in the vehicle and just carried the minimum up the outside stairs to the top level. This could be a problem in wet weather. There is a king sized bed and TV in the bedroom. Wifi access ok
