I never write reviews, but I have been surfing 30 years and traveled all over the globe. This place is rad for a family or couple that surfs. Location is perfect if you want to surf out front. I got a guide at enternal summer El Salvador fishing and surf tours who took me to other spots. Consuelo was epic every morning made sure we had a great breakfast. We will be back again. The food was pretty good but a little over priced. Otherwise than that, the place is epic.

The Casa de Mar Hotel is a spectacular place to stay in light of their amazing Staff and Service oriented approach; truly Excellent. David, Jimmy, Bryan, Consuelo, Vladimir, Christian, Guillermo, and countless other Staff members, went above and beyond to make our stay truly unique and fabulous in every way! Clean room, stunning views, and top-notch amenities in a relaxed setting right on the Beach. Our stay at Casa de Mar was an unforgettable experience. Its prime location are what grabbed our attention to the hotel. We loved everything! It is important to note that you can coordinate with David and Jimmy, the Managers, to contract a Guide employed by the Hotel, and Transportation, so as to visit the plethora of attractions in this most beautiful and inviting Country! P.S. Visiting, "El Tunco," a few minutes from the hotel, and a short beach walk away, is a must; filled with beautiful shops, restaurants, bars, and safe nightlife.

This resort was super cute. The landscaping is beautiful, the pool is simple but nice, and the direct access to the beach was great. El Tunco beach town is just a five minute walk down the beach which is great! The staff was super friendly and attentive (note there isn't a phone in the room to call them, but if you leave your room, it is so easy to find someone and ask for things - also, they are more than willing to share their direct cellphone number with you to communicate whenever). The rooms were simple, but a great way to disconnect since the TV is only cable and Spanish speaking channels. Overall, I found the resort very relaxing.
