Casa Grande Bambito Resort

It is a pretty charming little hotel. There are only about 10 rooms. There is only one other room occupied, so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The food at the restaurant is pretty good, the price was fair, 9.5 for steak, 7.5 for a quarter chicken with one side. Again we were the only ones there. But quality seafood was good in the $12.50 seafood pasta. What I like the most is the rapid next to the hotel which was pretty cool . My package included a horse ride up a small hill. And kayak in the pond, which we skipped. The downsides are the shower has barely warm water and the Internet sometimes goes out. But that can be expected at rural locales. Was there after much covered labour protests in the province, so that might be the reason for lack of business.

Beautiful property in the woods. The hotel restaurant serves wonderful foods. Lots of nature and fresh air. The room was good and had hot water for shower. Internet WiFi was spotty at best but we did have good mobile reception. Good location.

We went for 3 days to the Junior Suite 1. First day there was a wedding. Noise all night long When we got there, the TV did not work. Wifi slow and sometimes it went down. Antes on the sink, the staff told me that "usually happens". No mosquito screen. You need to sleep with windows opens, which usually slam at night. You can hear your neighbor through the walls. Mattresses are really hard. The keys did not work. Staff told me to "insert the key slightly". That was their solution, did not work. I don't know what happened to Casa Grande Bambito. Maybe it's the staff? But I felt the attention was the minimum. Sadly, won't be returning.
