Casa9 Hôtel

A peaceful & beautiful Catalan farm house for a retreat, rest or vacation in the area. Nine rooms, all well isolated from one another and offering different size options. The suites with terrace are great and spacious. The swimming pool is a treat for the summer, as is the tranquility of the surroundings. Located very near Thuir and Castelnou so plenty of options for shopping and visiting. Hosts were wonderful.

We stayed at Casa9 for 2 nights and had a great stay. Got upgraded to a superior room which has sitting area and a great bed, We slept like babies. The hotel has 9 rooms but it was never busy on the premisses. Sandrine was such a lovely host and took great care of us. She recommanded and made a reservation at Restaurant L’ Hostal in Castelnou. Great choice. Breakfast was in buffet style in a area which looks like a pastry shop. Choose was great; small pain au chocolat, small croissants, baquettes, some yoghurts and fruits, fresh fruits, charcuterie and on request some extra’s like eggs. Juices are from a farmer nearby. Loved it! Getting to the hotel can be a bit challenging if you have a big Car :) we drive a small one so No worries. Also worth mentioning the first night we ordered charcuterie with a glass of wine. Sat on the terrasse and enjoyed the ham, sausages cheese, bread and lovely White wine. If you keep in mind that this has been an old farm and that you are Very close to the mountains you can’t go wrong!!! Thank you Sandrine!

A fantastic place to relax. Everything was 10/10. The service, comfort and breakfasts. I highly recommend Casa9.
