Century Marina Hotel Lusail

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Century Marina Hotel for the warm welcome and outstanding service during our stay. From the moment my mother and I arrived, we felt truly taken care of. The bellman was extremely helpful and ensured a smooth arrival experience. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the reception team was genuinely welcoming. Every staff member we encountered from the front desk to the breakfast team, as well as those at the spa and pool areas was friendly, attentive, and professional. Their hospitality made our stay comfortable and memorable. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention to detail shown by everyone. I highly recommend Century Marina Hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, modern, clean, and very comfortable. We especially loved the view. Service-wise, we did request an extra bed, and while we had no issue with the extra charge (150 per night), we did have to call more than once to actually get it delivered to our room, which was a bit inconvenient. One thing we absolutely loved was the ladies only day at the pool every Saturday. Such a thoughtful touch and something you don’t often find at other places! However, we were a bit disappointed by the pool rules. We weren’t informed in advance that there are two separate pools: one indoor pool for those under 18, and one outdoor pool strictly for adults (18+), regardless of height or swimming ability. My 16 year old sister, who is 150+ cm tall and swims very well, wasn’t allowed to use the outdoor pool, which really surprised us and felt a little unfair. Would I come again? Yes. Once my sister turns 18 so she can enjoy the outdoor pool with us :) The rooms and the hotel’s location are definitely worth it

I had a disappointing experience with this hotel. I had booked a stay for a guest and unfortunately discovered the poor quality of service during the visit. On several occasions, when I passed by the main entrance to deliver clothes for the guest (mentioning the name and room number), the staff refused to assist and repeatedly told me to “go speak to reception.” This happened especially during the night shift. One particular front desk employee — an Asian man whose name I unfortunately forgot — was especially unpleasant. His tone was sharp, his responses were minimal, and he barely looked up from his computer, even though I was the only one at the reception desk. It felt like I was in a prison facility rather than a hotel. I understand that not all staff are like this, but this repeated behavior left a very negative impression. After two days, I canceled the rest of the booking and moved my guest to another hotel, as I didn’t want him to have a bad first impression of Qatar. I strongly urge hotel management to advise their team to treat guests and visitors more smoothly and respectfully. Simple things — like handing over laundry to a guest when provided with their name and room number — should not require going through the reception and being spoken to rudely. In other hotels, such tasks are handled with ease and courtesy. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as guest experience should always come first. Thank you.
