Cherry Maryski Hotel

I recently stayed at a hotel in Alexandria that offered decent value for its price. What made it stand out was its location tucked into a strategic part of the city, with shops and amenities practically around the corner. From a convenience perspective, it was spot-on. The room itself was fine, nothing luxurious, but functional and clean enough. The one major drawback was the air conditioning unit, which made a loud and constant noise that made it hard to relax or sleep peacefully. Other than that, the room served its purpose without any serious faults. Unfortunately, the view left much to be desired. There wasn’t really anything to look at just a blank, uninspiring stretch beyond the window. Inside the building, one peculiar aspect stood out: guests were allowed to smoke in the reception area. The smell lingered, and it wasn’t a pleasant welcome every time I came back in from outside. On the plus side, the rooftop pool was a highlight. It was clean and inviting, and added a nice touch to an otherwise modest stay. The staff were generally fine helpful enough, though not especially warm or engaging. All in all, the hotel served as a practical base for exploring Alexandria, with some pros and cons that balanced out depending on what you're looking for.

It is a nice hotel they have a pool on the roof Very helpful and friendly staff. The only concern is that the hotel needs maintenance and renovation. However, it's cost vs. service is reasonable. Strategic location that enables you to go anywhere easily. I have been booking it several times whenever i go to Alexandria.

Very bad experience overall. The lighting in the room was poor, making the space feel dull and uncomfortable. Cleanliness was below average — the carpet was so dirty you couldn’t walk on it barefoot without feeling disgusted. It really felt like the floor hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. I ordered grill chicken for dinner and what I got was uncooked chicken from the skin , nothing edible — extremely disappointing. The food in general was terrible, from quality to taste. Honestly, this hotel needs a serious upgrade in both hygiene and service. Definitely not recommended.
