So happy with our 5 day, 4 night stay. Staff are pleasant and always ready to assist. The lobby smells so fresh and clean and the rooms were clean as well. We needed 2 rooms for our party and both rooms were amazing. Every morning we enjoyed a breakfast buffet that had an assortment of foods, drinks and desserts. Wait staff including the Sous Chef were all so helpful. They noticed my hands were full with the baby and offered to deliver my food to my table. The only thing that I would say was a little irritating was the bottle water - It is extremely difficult to open. Even wait staff had a hard time opening the bottles when we ordered water during our breakfast. The last few days of our stay we noticed the GM walking around the premises. He took a genuine interest in us as guests and even asked about any improvements we wanted to make as guests. Not sure what the negative reviews are for because we absolutely enjoyed every day of our stay. Would definitely return to stay! Thank you, Courtyard Marriot staff!
This is a luxury hotel that just opened at the end of May 2025 near the Han River Bridge in Da Nang. In conclusion of my personal review, I gave it a hard rating of 5 and a soft rating of 3. Reasons for a hard rating of 5 - Modern skyscraper & luxurious front lobby - Modest but tasteful interior - Wide windows that reach to the feet - Comfortable Serta bed and large multi-channel TV - River view rooms have outstanding views - The only disappointing thing was the bathroom, the bathtub was narrow, and the sink got soaking wet from the shower. There were few pool chairs in the pool, and it didn't feel luxurious. Reasons for a soft 3 - I booked a corner room with a river view to enjoy the fireworks, and even though I asked for a room with a direct view of the fireworks by direct communication, we ended up with a room with no view of the fireworks. - I asked for a round decorated cake to celebrate my companion's birthday, and after more than a week of discussion about the size and flavor, I was told that they could only prepare pre-made cakes. - I couldn't choose even the drink for the afternoon tea, so only black tea was prepared. - No welcome fruit in the room even the executive room. - No shampoo (as you can see in the picture, there were only two body soaps, so I think this was a mistake) The breakfast, which has been negatively rated in other reviews, wasn't bad. Room tour movie can be seen on YouTube. Search by hakurepo(泊レポ) or hotel’s name.
The Junior Suite City View is blocked by the building. We checked the past reviews and realized that some guests had been treated so unfairly just a few days and a few weeks ago. The hotel management team responded to the guests' complaints with a very rude despise, contempt attitude. The management team has a very serious problem-solving ability and claims that it is not their problem. They will also respond to you rashly, the GM told us we are wasting their time, and then pretend to care as if nothing happened. It is very hypocritical and unfriendly. They still wanted to charge us with a Junior Suite price after we accepted downgraded to the deluxe river view. We denied. We have collected sufficient evidence and will write it down further details to the HQ after flying back home. Good hotel facilities but with horrible service.
