City Golf Club Motel

Stayed here recently and overall had a really nice experience. The room was comfortable, modern, and very clean. Great location and excellent value for the price — can’t really fault it on those fronts. Only real downside was the TV setup. It was locked to Foxtel only, so I couldn’t watch Netflix, YouTube, or stream from my own device. Bit disappointing in 2025 when most places offer smart TVs or at least a casting option. I asked the receptionist and was told it’s Foxtel-only — he seemed used to the question, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he hears it daily. Aside from that, I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it. Just don’t expect to binge your own shows unless you bring a laptop or tablet.

Loved our stay! Clean ! Friendly ! Great location, decent price. Unfortunately a very loud noisy neighbour kept going back and forth to the hotel rooms either side of ours, not sure if she lively there but wasn’t very considerate of others

I was told this motel had room service and ashtray s available for balcony. Being a non smoking motel I agreed to only smoking outside and keeping doors closed. I got a king spa room not cheap. Clean enough but info between receptionists and knowledge is terrible as room service snd ashtrays were a lie. Check out at 10am cleaners knocking on doors asking when we are leaving at 9. Unprofessional, unorganised. He said she said. Could be a great motel, lacklustre staff. I’ve worked in 4 star morels, ground up. Housekeeping, front of house, reception. This was a shit show they can’t keep the rating they have with employing the rude housekeepers and obvious lack of communication between reception management and staff. Rooms are ok stay a night. Don’t expect and cohesion or communication between staff members. I ordered this room a month in advance. Expensive to be told room service was part of experience and private smoking. Obviously one receptionist had no idea of her job and I met two of them in two days one was lovely the other was just floundering to be nice.
