City Park Hotel Corlu

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights during Eid al-Adha. The rooms and toilets were very clean. The view from the room was wonderful, there was air conditioning and TV. I also liked the breakfast, but the dinner was a fiasco. Uncooked meatballs and chicken shanks were served. The salad was prepared only with lettuce and dill. It was not worth the money. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options by the pool, the fries were nice. We were generally satisfied, but the dinners could be diversified.

European ID is not valid. Owner kept demanding passport. But he stopped asking after I refused.

We stayed at this hotel as two women during the holiday. Although the cleanliness of the room and the location of the hotel were positive, we had a very negative experience due to the incident we experienced on the last night. When we returned to the hotel at around 02:20 at night, we were greeted by a person who introduced himself as the owner of the business in a rude and threatening tone. We were told that "you cannot enter the hotel after 1:30" and that we would not be able to stay the next day even if we paid. This rule was not communicated to us either verbally or in writing during the reservation or at the entrance. This type of approach towards female guests is against the *Law on the Protection of Consumers*, especially articles such as *defective service*, *lack of information* and *arbitrariness in the performance of the service*. In addition, the threat of leaving two women outside at night in a way that would put their safety at risk is a serious act of irresponsibility. Due to this situation, we reserve the right to apply to the necessary authorities and we definitely do not recommend this business.
