City Suites Taipei Nanxi

Location is 5 star because I am travelling for business and the hotel is strategic for me. If you are travelling for holiday, you need to check out City Suite other branches. Nanxi branch is not within the buzzy area in Taipei. I tried a few hotels nearby my office in the past and I am surprise by the rooms in this hotel. It’s big, clean and nothing is lack! Suits me real fine. Even have a walk in wardrobe which was superb for me. Staff were efficient. House keeper is detail. It will be my choice from now for my future business trip. The decoration is a little out dated, and strongly recommended for some renovations need to be done. Plus, there should have one escalator from main entrance to the reception area. Other than that, it was pleasant to stay. The buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious, and stuffs were very helpful.

Room facilities is ok but renovation is pretty old. They help you change towel everyday but all are pretty old. Room is quiet around but no view at all because your window just next to local resident building so you can’t really open the curtain. The corridor smell really bad as it seems people smoke there. Location — not good as you need to walk 10 mins to subway and 15 min to station. Shops around most are local shop not really for retail but they got one supermarket & 7-11 next to. Lobby is quiet and offer free coffee which is great as you can sit and wait for the room being ready. Service —- great staffs and big smile always, very helpful too ! Price is a bit high vs the room quality & location
