We had an unanticipated stop in Clarenville due to a medical situation. Lucky me, there was one room left, the jacuzzi suite. Huge, clean, comfortable room. We had supper, and were delighted with the gluten-free options. Tasty, hot meal, we enjoyed in our sitting srea of our suite. Breakfast the next morning was also great - we are still talking about our vegetable omlette. The inn is right on the highway, but we didnt hear much road noise. Remarkably quiet for a fully booked hotel. There was a young chikd in the pool, having a wonderful time. It was a great stay, all things considered.
The location is convenient but not very picturesque, by the main road. Nice pool. Hot tub available to reserve by the hour. Basic but adequate.
The first room we were in was dated. The second room we were in was more modern except for the ongoing construction that could be heard and the smell of paint. The restaurant left much to be desired, and the location isn't the greatest because it's nowhere near anything else in town.
