We stayed at the Clayton Hotel Sligo on the 5th of July for a girls' night away to catch up, and we had an amazing time! There were four of us in the group, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is just a short 5-minute drive from the town centre, making it convenient while still offering a peaceful setting. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay, they even booked us a taxi into town with no hassle at all. We kicked off our evening with cocktails in the hotel bar, which were absolutely lovely. The bar staff were cheerful and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. At reception, the lady who checked us in was warm, informative, and made sure we knew all about the facilities available. Our rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. A special mention to the body wash,it smelled amazing! The hotel itself was lively with a great mix of guests, families, couples, tour groups, and others celebrating special occasions, so it had a lovely buzz without ever feeling overcrowded. We also really enjoyed the food. Everything we tried was tasty and delicious, with a wide selection to suit everyone. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend Clayton Hotel Sligo to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, and friendly getaway.

Great stay in a lovely hotel by a family group, with super grounds for children to play. We used the swimmknv pool and had a beautiful meal in the bar. The only thing we would change is the rooms being very hot - no air conditioning. And the hotel is quite dark inside, no natural light in the room we had our meal in off the bar. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good value

This is our 3rd time to stay here. We Choose it as it was always a fantastic hotel for kids. However on this occasion we were slightly disappointed. The kids clubs hours have been cut and the inflatables in the pool are no longer a thing. Had two very disappointed kids. Sinergie restaurant was also not opened when we were there which I feel should have been pointed out or reflected on the website. Kids where very excited to do the fairy trail however half the fairy doors were missing or else they must have been completely obscured by greenery, which lead to more disappointment. In saying this, the room was fantastic and clean with everything we could have needed. The food both nights in the bar was delicious and staff where very attentive. Also on our day of arrival we were taken aback by the mess out the front at the door. There was mugs/ glasses all over the place, fast food take out rubbish all shoved on the wall and an almost empty bottle of wine also on the wall. I understand that these things happen but it was after 2pm and there was only someone going round cleaning it at that time, I feel this should be done early morning especially when there is staff out at that time as both mornings we were woken at 6.30am by the outside tables been moved around outside the bar, maybe this time would be better used to tidy up while guests sleep.
