Visited with spouse, parents and kids during March 2025. Resort is quite far from Ahmedabad city, around 2 how by road one way. So, for any site seeing or intercity connectivity, have to travel 2 hours minimum. No nearby good eateries as well. Roads were good. We didn't take resort's transport as that is costlier. We took the same uber cab person who dropped us from airport. Resort has good amenities, free of charge squash court, indoor badminton court, cricket nets (power bowling is chargeable), other indoor games like carrom, Foosball, ludo. Pool side was good but the common washrooms were unclean. Studio room was clean, spacious to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. One side of rooms come with gold course view with balcony and the other side comes with pool view without balcony. Room service was good, good air-conditioning. Bathroom had both bath tub and bath space. Bath space is smaller and water tends to spill outside the bathroom during a bath which can be slippery. Resort staff, Janki, Kamal gave good service, discounts on buffet combos. Food quality and taste were good though pooris were hard and dry one day. Overall, highly recommend the stay.
This place really didn’t meet the expectations that Mahindra Group created through its heavy promotions and the high prices they charge for their packages. I’m still grateful I got the chance to stay here for two days, but honestly, before my visit, I was seriously considering taking their club membership for ₹7 lakh. After experiencing the stay, my mood dropped completely, and I decided against it. There’s simply nothing here that justifies such a massive price tag. Yes, their service staff was polite and attentive, but beyond that, there’s not much value for what Mahindra is charging. Even though my stay was part of a free 2-day trip, they still charged me ₹2,170, which felt unnecessary. And the food prices were just shocking—outside the club, a 300 ml bottle of water costs ₹5, but here it was ₹90. One chapati was ₹200, and a single sabzi was ₹900. I still ordered the food hoping for quality, but the taste was honestly the worst I’ve had in such a resort setting. Mahindra, if you’re charging premium prices, at least provide a premium experience. Thankfully, I’ve had the chance to visit other resorts, and I can confidently say there are far better clubs than Mahindra Group offering much more for far less.
Extremely Pathetic Experience – Very Poor Hospitality We were convinced by Club Mahindra to shift our booking from The Fern Resort to Kensville Golf Resort (290 km away) due to a “tie-up ending.” This wasted half a day in travel, with no follow-up after the change. The worst part — my 5-year-old son got injured at the Happy Hub. Staff had no first aid readiness, no on-call doctor, no nearby hospital contacts. We were told to “explore nearby” for treatment. Even basic requests like water were denied at the activity area. No courtesy, no support, no transport offer — we were left on our own during a medical emergency. The next day, when my son was in pain again, housekeeping took 20 minutes to respond and refused to bring the first aid kit to the room. We decided to check out early for safety. Instead of asking about our child, reception called to check if we had taken their writing pad! Only the restaurant team was courteous and prompt — kudos to them. For a brand that charges high AMC fees and promotes “family-friendly” vacations, this was an appalling example of negligence and misplaced priorities. Safety protocols were absent, accountability was zero, and hospitality standards were non-existent. Not recommended — until they fix their emergency preparedness and basic guest care.
