COMO Alpina Dolomites

COMO Alpina sits in the town of Compatsch nestled around a variety of the Dolomites. It is a gorgeous view all around and perfectly situated for AMAZING hiking. We were a little surprised by how close it is to the major/main ski lift, but considering how gorgeous the hotel and location (Alpe di Suisi/Seiser Alm) are, we would still happily look come back. The hotel is very well appointed with great amenities, the spa, pool and saunas are beautiful. Our concierge Gunther was fantastic! He was instrumental in recommending a hike that was the best of our lives! Sarah in the Sassolungo restaurant was wonderful. Deborah in the spa/sauna was delightful! The bar staff - Leonardo, were so personable, everyone was extremely helpful and happy to host us. We felt right at home, thank you COMO Alpina!

I stayed there for 6 weeks for ski holiday. Amazing and super friendly staff with local knowledge and international mindset. Various indoor and outdoor activities. Great cuisines with fresh ingredients!

Torn between 4 and 5 stars. Depends on what ur looking for. For families I think this is a 5 star but for couples it maybe a little too commercial and too many families with kids. Given its Asian ownership, several Asian tour groups were here too. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Decor was a little erratic. Room was roomy and very nice bathroom. Spa was also fantastic with 5 saunas and cold plunge. Views are stunning though a good 25 min drive from the highway. It’s a very popular starting point for many hiking trails too. Forestis still my fave in Dolomites and a class above. But also in another price bracket above too.
