Great stay at Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv! Staff were amazing — attentive, helpful, and thoughtful. Receptionist was a star! Got extra hangers, a vase for flowers, and adapters with no hassle. Lovely business lounge with great cheese, though food labels would help. Nice gym and only a minute from the beach. Highly recommend!
The hotel is being renovated, and if you book directly with the hotel and not with a travel site, you will get a much nicer room. The first night was really not a pleasant night because we didn’t book directly with the hotel but the next 5 Nights were super. Such nice reception people so helpful. I unfortunately don’t remember everyone’s name. One of the hotel receptionist is David and he was fabulous. There were a few items I requested, and they came immediately. They didn’t have a magnifying mirror in my room and within a short time, they had secured a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. We rented Bikes and they allowed us to store the bikes in their storage room, even though it wasn’t very big. Every single person I encountered there was so helpful and friendly highly recommend, and the view is magnificent. If you have even a side view, which is what we had of the sea it was beautiful. Highly recommend especially for the cost of being on the beach.
We got a very old room with poor furniture, it felt like the air was full of dust. The hotel staff did not act to enforce the hotel rules. People brought glass bottles to the pool, smoked there and played music on portable speakers which are prohibited by hotel rules. There was a feeling The staff is not interested in warning those people so as not to conflict with this particular population, when in reality the ones paying the price are the other guests who come to enjoy a vacation that is not cheap at all. We booked a two-night vacation in a junior suite for over 4,000 shekels. The room we received was very different from the photos the hotel publishes on its website, which made us feel bad, like we had been deceived. The feeling that some of the junior staff are there as part of community service, and are really not interested in providing real service. The hotel's location is excellent, but really nothing more than that. Bottom line: Not recommended at all. There is no value for the exorbitant price the hotel demands.
