Custos Hotel Tsvetnoy Boulevard

Since I see bad reviews here, I must say a few words... If you want better view from windows you should pay more and stay at 4 seasons hotel, I bet there is better view for 8 times bigger price ... Custos hotel is at great position - walking distance from Red square (2 km). Rooms are new and perfectly clean. Staff is polite and helpful. Hotel is tasteful combination of the old build and modern equipment. Spacious and comfort rooms for this price... More than fair... Recommended - 10 stars...

Custos on Tsvitnoy was exactly as the photos showed: simple, elegant, comfortable. The shower was spacious and the mattress very firm. We loved the brick wall. We were given a “city” facing room, which meant we were next to a noisy road. It wasn’t ideal as I am a light sleeper and slept with ear plugs. We moved to a different room 2 days later when our bathroom ceiling started leaking, which was an improvement in that respect, but was equally noisy due to a large ventilation system working nonstop in the alley our window looked out on. The hotel is located a short walk to the metro, which was very convenient. A lot of restaurants were a short walk away, and right next door was a good restaurant (opens at 8 AM) where we had breakfast several times. We would recommend this hotel if you’re not a light sleeper, like firm beds, aren’t planning on working remotely (small desk size) and are looking for a convenient and affordable location.

Central location for a great price. Good service. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Simple interior design with all necessary basic amenities: stable wifi, small refrigerator, Har dryer in room, and iron available. One drawback for some is that there is no elevator in this hotel. So you have to lug your own suitcases up to your room. But the location is central and I walk to everywhere I need it want to go
