We have recently returned from an amazing stay at D'Andrea lagoon and we cannot rate it highly enough. The hotel itself is very luxury, clean and has amazing facilities. The staff were incredibly hospitable, kind and friendly. They were always there to assist us in any way they could. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect- when we arrived late at night they made sure we had complimentary food and drink available, and had left us welcome gifts of hats/wine on the bed. We were upgraded to a swim up suite- the room was large and spacious and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the entertainment provided in the evening was a lovely touch. The private beach was very romantic and a really lovely place to watch the sunset. When we left we were given a complimentary bottle of almond oil (which I have been using and it is amazing!). I really cannot recommend this place enough and we are already planning our next trip back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
I had such a great experience here. The hotel was lovely and the staff was amazing. I think the only thing that let the place down is that it was in the middle of nowhere. So there wasn’t any shops or local restaurants nearby. I still had a brilliant time and will definitely come back here again.
Beautiful resort with great potential – but not quite five stars (yet) We stayed at Andrea Lagoon for a week and were impressed by the beautiful architecture and stylish design. It’s a truly stunning place with a lot of potential, and we had a relaxing time overall. That said, a few things didn’t meet five-star expectations. Service was friendly but inconsistent—communication in English was sometimes difficult, and staff weren’t always attentive in the restaurant, at the pool, or on the beach. A standout, however, was the lady with the white cap at breakfast—she was fantastic! The resort is not fully finished yet. Between the resort and the beach (5 minutes walk) there’s an active construction site for the future Andrea Dunes Resort. It’s not a major disturbance, but worth knowing. Rooms were cleaned twice daily and towels/linen refreshed, but we did notice hairs in the shower and some limescale in the corners. Also, green algae was visible at the pool edges despite cleaning efforts. Food was freshly prepared with a local Greek focus, which we appreciated. Breakfast and dinner were varied, but the selection of meat/fish dishes at dinner could be more extensive. In short: a great stay in a beautiful place, but currently more of a 4-star experience. Still, we’re curious to see the completed resort and would love to come back once everything is fully up and running.
