Dar Zyne La Medina

I arrived without reservation & was lucky enough that the nice yellow room was free for my three day stay. Travelling by bike, I had easy access to this guesthouse in the heart of Tunis Medina. Mariem, the lady of the house, was very helpful in all respects. Breakfast was copious, room service excellent and the general atmosphere homely. I found this place an oasis of tranquillity after my 600km cycling trip. Highly recommended!

The stay was extremely pleasant. The beautiful house in the middle of the medina ideally combines traditional architecture with today's needs. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Not only was there a good breakfast, but we were given tours of the historic center and assistance with shopping. Thank you Yassine !!! :)

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Tunisia. Staff are very helpful, the hotel itself is very beautiful, calm, and quiet. The room I had was simple but had a very big and comfortable bed and nice bathroom (bring your own soap). The TV wasn't functional but I didn't really mind. Breakfast was simple and basic but the best part is that you would be visited by the hotel tortoise who lives in the courtyard and you can feed him lettuce! The hotel is located centrally in the medina but is in a bit of a dirtier area...that's the only negative I can think of. Overall, I would highly recommend!
