Das Pfandler Hotel

Great traditional hotel full of history and character. Adjacent to the Pertisau gondola and the food was very good. Good sauna and pool.

Very nice hotel in the beautiful town of Pertisau Austria, which is located in Tirol in the Achensee skiregion. Perfect location to stay while you go skiing, the hotel is literally across the road from the cable car. Amazing hotel run by Family Entner, father, mother, son and daughter in law. Their little children run about the hotel all day, maybe the next generation of Entner to be a host to their guests. Many guests stay here every year, some twice a year and even more. Which indicates it's a very welcoming place with a warm atmosphere that you can't find everywhere. Very nice rooms with a good bed, a small fridge, a seating area and a nice bathroom. Everything is just well maintained and cleaned properly every morning while you are enjoying breakfast. Different kinds of breads, yogurt, muesli, egg dishes, cheese and meat, juices, marmalade, honey, and even cake. Nice but simple swimming pool with a lounge area to watch the mointains and lake, fitness room with some equipment and a sauna area. The bar in the hotel is located directly at the main entrance where also the reception is. Pretty normal prices are being asked for drinks and small meals. Dinner is a choice between two kinds of soups, a meat, fish and vegetarian main course and of course a dessert to finish with. Side dishes are mainly salads you can take yourself. Conclude the day with a nice glass of homemade wine, beer or maybe something stronger. The hotel has a little shop connected to it which you can enter through the hotel so there is no need to go into the cold. Here you can find almos everything you would see in a supermarket.
