Dawn Beach Club Resort Sint Maarten

The Beach Yoga was a fantastic way to start the day at sunrise! 🌅 The beach setting created an inspiring, peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to connect with both the practice and my body and Mother Earth 🌏. Don, the instructor is truly amazing! His clear guidance and ability to offer modifications made the class accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their experience level. We left feeling more agile, and pain free (especially after an 10 hour flight) so grateful 🙏to have attended. Don incorporated mindful breathing which also helped immensely. Dawn Beach Yoga is highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful yoga experience in a beautiful location!

The room was spacious and beautiful. However, we spent most of our time at the JW Marriott. The staff at DBC was friendly and helpful in our ability to maneuver around the island (suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and nightlife). We had a great view from our room. If you're looking for a laid-back, kid friendly environment, then this is the place for you.

TOTAL SCAM….Was approached within a minute of getting out of a taxi in Phillipsburg. Two men ( Steve and Ismail, his boss) approached my family and handed everyone scratch off cards and everyone won!…The 2 men said that the JW Marriott hotel was doing this promotion to get people to visit the resort for 30 minutes to see the newly renovated hotel since Marriott bought the Westin. Being that one of the scratch off said we were “grand prize winner” and the visit was 30 minutes, we went…Not until we got to the place, did we find out about the Dawn Beach Club ( a timeshare building next door to the Marriott). Harris’s, from Dawn Beach Club, then explained it was not 30 minutes, but 90 minutes and took us all around the Marriott…Nice hotel…Finally after 75 minutes he took us to the Dawn Beach CLub building and showed us a room. Then came the “closing Sales Pitch”…A woman came to our table with a pen and blank piece of paper and scribbles down the following: First offer: $95,000/$20,000 down/$1750 a month for 84 months and also an HOA of $1650 per year….. I said NO Second offer: $45,000/ $15,000 down and $900 per month 84 months and still HOA off $1650….I said No Third offer : $15,000 and you can only use it once every other year… I said No and asked to leave. I expressed my anger with the total scam that Dawn Beach CLub is doing on a daily basis….I spoke with a David Ifrah, the Sales and Marketing from Dawn Beach club and explained how his employees are scamming people and he said I should have reach the whole scratch off card at the beginning. We got a taxi ride back to Phillipburg and within a minute of getting out of the taxi, I was approached by someone else trying to give me another scratch off card…. BE WARNED
