I stayed at De Plesman Hotel for three nights and was genuinely impressed. The facilities are very modern, with a clean and stylish design throughout. The room even included a fully equipped kitchen, which was a great bonus. Everything provided – from appliances to furniture – was high-quality, well-maintained, and clearly thoughtfully chosen. A really comfortable and well-designed place to stay!
I can definitely recommend this hotel. Parking was easy—either in the paid lot or on nearby metered streets. The rooms, lobby, and restaurant are tastefully decorated, and you can tell the hotel is brand new. Good value for the price. One detail to keep in mind if you plan to spend extended time in your room: there’s a demolition site behind the building. Thus the view in several directions isn't great, though this is likely outside the hotel’s control.
For our girls’ trip, my friends and I decided to stay at the new hotel De Plesman—and what a fantastic choice it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a real addition to the city of The Hague. The owners have done a marvellous job transforming a beautiful, historic building into a fresh, lively, and truly welcoming destination. One of my favourite surprises was the slightly London-inspired vibe evident throughout the hotel. There’s a fashionable flair to the décor, and the funky hotel bar could have been lifted straight from a chic London neighbourhood. It’s vibrant, stylish, and the perfect place for a fun catch-up over drinks. Beyond the aesthetic, the staff were impressively attentive and warm. The rooms themselves were great - thoughtfully laid out, immaculately clean, and cleverly designed to showcase the building’s original architectural features while offering modern comfort. It’s lovely seeing a monumental structure preserved in such a way that also fits seamlessly into the contemporary hospitality scene. Overall, De Plesman exudes a wonderful blend of history and modernity, style and friendliness. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit out of the ordinary to stay or just for dinner or for a couple of drinks. They really have created a gem—this is undoubtedly a new hot and happening spot in The Hague that I’ll look forward to revisiting more often for dinners, drinks or even for a morning coffee & croissant when Deli Suusje opens!
