Decameron Las Heliconias All Inclusive

Lovely place that is well maintained. Rooms were spacious and suitable for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We enjoyed our stay. Some points that might have made our stay 5 stars: 1) Distance from our room to dining area was too far for an 84 yr old to walk 2) Air Conditioner rooms were only on 2nd floor 3) No clear pathway to car and lack of ramps throughout which is hard for aged visitors. (As you can see, accessibility is not great for older visitors) 4) check out process was slow and lacks communication. We were waiting for 20 minutes and had to ask if we can go since the staff have not even checked the state of our rooms and no one came to inform us of the delay. Overall, a good location that suited our stay and exploration in the Quindio region.

Came here for a family vacation (only about 20 of us). I don't know how busy it gets later in the year (we came for spring break), but it wasn't too crowded, and it felt like a pretty intimate setting. The views are fantastic, and the sounds of birds throughout the day is quite relaxing. The food was pretty good, except for the night they had a Hawaiian-themed menu. And that's only because I'm not a big fan of fruity meals. The reservation only restaurant was very good. My wife got a steak, which was a little harder than I liked, but the flavor was very good.

The rooms are quite dark you just have one small window and the door from the balcony, balcony without chairs or tables so you are not able to enjoy it in comfort, buffet is not so big, not that much variety of food.
