Descobertas Boutique Hotel Porto by Aspasios

I stayed at Descobertas Boutique Hotel for one night last week and had a really pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Porto and within walking distance of the river, restaurants, and main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel easy and welcoming. Breakfast selection was really good, a nice way to start the day without being over the top. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice if you’re visiting Porto, great value, great location, and lovely service. I’d definitely recommend it!

Our stay at Hotel Descobertas in Porto was fantastic from start to finish, and what truly set it apart was the exceptional service—especially from José. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable, offering great local tips, helping with reservations, and always greeting us with a warm smile. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, right in the heart of the Ribeira district, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. But again, it’s the people that make the experience memorable—and José absolutely did that for us. Thank you for making our time in Porto even more special. Highly recommended!

Had room 101. Staff very friendly, very clean, room is spacious. Very noisy because this is in a back alley street. Very very very cold even either max heater. Breakfast was great with a wide range of options. The berry compote was fantastic and they have a nice coffee machine to make flat white. Lovely place and wonderful location right in front of the river. Would wish it would be just slightly warmer and less noisy.
