Although it is a little run down in places, we had a really good stay. Rooms were very warm with heaters going. Great room servicing each day. Loved the breakfast every morning especially the buffet breakfast. Very yummy. We stayed in the two bedroom villa and highly recommend
Distinction saved us during our stay in Te Anau. It started raining in the evening and our rental RV sprung a large leak. Distinction was one of the very few in town that had accommodations for a family of 4. In addition, Ellen at the front desk was extremely helpful and let us leave the RV under cover by the entrance for the night. The room was super comfortable and a great value for the price. Highly recommend this place!
The customer service at Distinction Te Anau Hotel and Villas is awesome! Special shoutout to Ellen and team who went through great effort to return my handbag which I left behind in the villa. Super appreciate their effort and time! I was able to enjoy the rest of my holidays in NZ without the worry or regret of my losing my handbag. Btw, Distinction serves a very decent and hearty breakfast too. There's an ala carte menu in addition to the buffet spread, spoiling us with choices. Definitely recommend this place to stay!
