We spent a wonderful family holiday at Vigilerhof, a hotel perfectly designed for families with children. The entire infrastructure – from rooms to common areas – is family‑friendly. The beautiful pool with spring water and the adults‑only spa area make it easy to relax for both parents and children. The staff delivers service at the highest level, combining professionalism with truly personal attention. Every detail feels carefully taken care of. Breakfasts and dinners were outstanding. Mornings started with a rich, fresh buffet offering a wide variety of local and international options. Dinners were perfectly composed, blending South Tyrolean specialties with Mediterranean touches. Another highlight was the daily excursion suggestions provided at breakfast, which helped us explore the area without extra planning. The hotel’s location right next to a bus stop makes it easy to enjoy the surroundings even without a car.

We had an amazing experience. The staff was really welcoming and was focused on guest wellbeing. The room we had was really spacious with a nice balcony. The only small negative part is that the hotel is right next to a main road, which has great bus access, but is loud sometimes. The food was amazing and we would always come back. Big thank you!

This was our second stay at Hotel Vigilerhof. While the facilities are great (pool, playroom, spacious and well-equipped rooms), the service fell short of what you’d expect from a four-star hotel charging premium prices. We arrived with two small kids and a dog, only to find a strong odor in the room. After notifying staff, they “identified and fixed” an issue with the shower drain. However, the smell persisted overnight, and by morning we discovered multiple dried stains from dog feces and urine on the floor and even on the wall. When we reported it, the staff suggested it might be from our dog—despite the stains being clearly old and dry. After some back and forth, they agreed to clean and disinfect the room while we were out. Although some stains were cleaned, others were missed, so we ended up cleaning parts of the room ourselves to avoid further stress. No one followed up to check if things had improved, which felt like basic hospitality was lacking. At checkout, we were charged the full price and had to negotiate just to receive a minimal discount (waiving the dog fee). Overall, we left disappointed and surprised that such poor service could happen in a hotel positioned as premium
